This book represents a new, completely updated, version of a book edited by two of the current editors, published with Springer in 1999. It covers pest and disease management of greenhouse crops, providing readers the basic strategies and tactics of integrated control together with its implementation in practice, with case studies with selected crops. The diversity of editors and authors provides readers a complete picture of the world situation of IPM in greenhouse crops.

About the editors
Professor in Plant Pathology and Director of Agroinnova, University of Torino, Italy, vice-President (2003-2008), President (2008-2013) and Past-President of the International Society for Plant Pathology (ISPP). Past-President of the Italian Society for Crop Protection (A.I.P.P.) and of the Italian Association of the Agricultural Scientific Societies (AISSA) and currently President of the Italian Society of Plant Pathology (SIPaV). She managed many European and International projects in the field of plant disease management, biological and integrated control of diseases, crop biosecurity, effect of climate change on plant diseases and sustainable agriculture. Co-author of 23 books, published over 800 scientific articles and reviews on Italian and international Journals.
Dr. Philippe C. Nicot is a research scientist at the Plant Pathology unit of the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) in Avignon, France. He has conducted research on diseases of greenhouse crops and their management for more than 30 years, authoring more than 100 scientific articles in this domain. Since the early days of his carrier, he has had a strong interest in biological control and integrated pest management; he has been implicated with the International Organization for Biological an Integrated Control (IOBC) since the 1990’s.
Ramon Albajes is professor of Entomology at the University of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain, and researcher in the Plant Protection group at the Agrotecnio Center. For more than 40 years he has conducted research on Biological Control of insect pests in greenhouse crops, Biology and Ecology of Insect Pests in arable crops, Impacts of IPM methods on insect natural enemies. He has authored more than 100 scientific articles on those domains.
