Installing Virtual Machines

Speaker: Hello and welcome. Let’s talk about Installing Virtual Machines. In this video we are going to take a look at a couple of points. First of all, how to download a virtual machine and then how we can install it inside our system that we are going to learn here in this video.

So first of all, open Google and on Google you can type “Download VMware for Windows” and hit Enter. Basically, we are going to install VMware Workstation inside operating system. VMware is available for Windows, Linux and Mac. You can download in any version. I am using Windows 10 operating system, so I’m going to use VMware Windows. And then you can basically select the first one. VMware Workstation Pro and the latest one is 15 version, right? If you come down, then this is for Windows, this is for Linux and if you google it then you will find out for Mac operating system as well. So let me click on the download now and let’s download VMware Workstation here. This is around 512MB file. Click Save File, and it is going to download inside my system.

So I have successfully downloaded VMware Workstation 15 version. Now it’s time to install it inside your system. So you can double click here, that’ll install it inside your system. So here you can click next, accept their agreement, hit next, click next. If you don’t want to join their program, then you can untick them, click next. If you want to create a shortcut on desktop, click next and then install it inside your system. So we just need to wait here until the installation completes.

So the installation is complete. So if you have a license then you can put your license there. But if you have not purchased this product, you want to try this product for 30 days, then you can click finish. So the installation is complete, right? Now if you want to start VMware, you can click on your windows, search here VMware, click on VMware Workstation, and it will open up inside your system. So here it is. So this is VMware Workstation and inside when VMware Workstation, we will install Kali Linux and Windows operating system in the next video. So here you can see some machines out here because I already have these machines inside VMware, but if you have installed VMware for the first time, then you won’t see any machines here. So this is all about installation of VMware.
