HIV und Hepatitis in der Reproduktionsmedizin

Zusammenfassung

Infektionen können im Bereich der assistierten Reproduktionstechniken (ART) bei der Indikationsstellung, der Bewertung der Erfolgschance, der Durchführung der eigentlichen Behandlung und bei einer folgenden Schwangerschaft eine wesentliche Rolle spielen. Dabei sind Infektionen bei der Ursachenentstehung der ungewollten Kinderlosigkeit, als Begleiterkrankung oder als Risikopotenzial unmittelbar während und nach einer solchen Behandlung zu werten. Schlussendlich können die Patientin, deren Partner, das Personal, die „verarbeiteten“ Zellen einschließlich Kulturmedien oder technische Geräte betroffen sein. Im Wesentlichen sind hierbei nicht die unterschiedlich intensiven Behandlungsoptionen getrennt voneinander zu werten, vielmehr ist darauf zu achten, dass in dem Moment, wo Keimzellen außerhalb des Körpers „verarbeitet“ werden, besondere Sorgfalt in Hinblick auf mögliche Infektionen walten gelassen werden muss.
