National and local governments relationship in Bangladesh refers to the interrelationship and balance of power between the national or central government and sub-national or local government institutions on the perspective of Bangladesh.

Introduction

The paramount importance of good local governance and thus call for a robust local government system are explicitly supported by the most of contemporary literatures in the domain of decentralization and local governance. This is not the argument point of the current research.
