David Edmonds is a philosopher, journalist, author, editor, senior research associate, and documentary maker.

Introduction

David Edmonds was born in 1964. He graduated from Oxford University and went on to earn a PhD in philosophy from the Open University. He subsequently had fellowships in the University of Chicago and University of Michigan. He has since become an influential philosopher and has written, cowritten, and edited 10 books. Additionally, he is a contributing editor for Prospect Magazine, a senior research associate at Oxford’s Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, and an award winning documentary maker for BBC radio.
