Zusammenfassung

Beteiligungsgesellschaften erbringen als Finanzintermediäre für ihre Kunden eine Reihe wichtiger Dienstleistungen. Augenfällig ist dies zunächst bei Beteiligungen an nicht börsennotierten Unternehmen, welche für viele Investoren ohne institutionelle Bündelung von Kapital und professioneller Anlageselektion häufig als Investments gar nicht zugänglich wären. Hinzu kommen als Intermediationsleistungen die organisierte Ausübung von Kontrollrechten sowie ein aktives Beteiligungsmanagement.
