Abstract
In this chapter, I’ll first discuss how to set up your environment for GDK development, whether you use Mac, Linux, or Windows. I’ll then show you how to get your Glass ready for development, how to use the Android command-line tool adb to perform common operations on Glass, and how to run GDK samples on Glass. After that, I’ll walk you through a complete tutorial of the GDK app template and how to use it to quickly create your first GDK app. You will use the template in most of the following chapters to create all the GDK sample apps.
