He always joked that he will die in the office and they’ll have to carry him out of Heartland’s office building—and now it is almost true? I’m calling the hospital again to get the latest news on Ross’s condition. This morning, after a very successful meeting about the extraordinary results in the last financial year, Ross had a heart attack while drinking a glass of Champagne with us and the other board members. We were celebrating the best result that Heartland Consolidated Industries has ever had—despite the problems that we were facing.
