Improving Business Modelling with Organizational Semiotics

  • Chapter
Dynamics and Change in Organizations

Abstract

Organizational semiotics and its derived methods are mapped to object oriented paradigm. Expressed in Unified Modelling Language, the mappings make improvements to the business modelling using the Rational Unified Process. It facilitates a converging process for reaching semantic representation with clear definitions of responsibilities, which delivers an agreed business model.
