Cyclosporin A (Sandimmun®) in autoimmune disorders

  • Chapter
Cyclosporin

Abstract

Since the effect of Sandimmun® (cyclosporin A) was established in organ transplantation some years ago, increasing interest has been shown in studying its potential in autoimmune diseases. As of June 1988, about 5000 patients suffering from many different clinical syndromes have been treated in more than 100 clinical studies.
