Riassunto
La malattia mentale comprende un insieme di sindromi e disturbi molto diversi per presentazione e andamento che, per tale motivo, richiedono percorsi clinico- assistenziali diversificati. Attualmente, l’attività clinico-assistenziale in Italia è distribuita tra diverse tipologie di servizi: i servizi territoriali o dipartimenti di salute mentale (DSM), i servizi di diagnosi e cura (SPDC) ospedalieri, i day hospital e i centri diurni, e le residenze sanitarie psichiatriche.
