Riassunto

Sebbene la maggior parte dei quadri patologici coinvolgenti il massiccio facciale possa essere precocemente individuata e dettagliatamente documentata in epoca prenatale con l’esame ecografico, la RM (Risonanaza Magnetica) può integrare e in alcuni casi completare l’iter diagnostico. Di seguito si pone l’attenzione su tre gruppi di patologie di più frequente riscontro anche nella nostra esperienza diretta, in particolare i cleft labio-palatali, le anomalie mandi-bolari e le midface anomalies [1–3].
