Abstract
Endo-β-N-acetylglucosaminidase (EC 3.2.1.96) hydrolyzes the glycosidic bond in the N, N′-diacetylchitobiose moiety of N-linked oligosaccharides of various glycoproteins. This enzyme is unique with regard to the enzymatic action by which one GlcNAc residue remains bound to the protein/peptide.
