Abstract

A new nondepolarizing, steroid type muscle relaxant (MR), SZ1676 (1-[3 α, 17 β-Bis(acetyloxy)-2 β -(1.4-dioxa-8-azaspiro[4.5]dec-8-yl)-5 α-androstan-16 β -yl]-1-(2propenyl)pyrrolidinium bromide) has been introduced recently 1,2). In this study, the pharmaco-dynamic effects of SZ1676 and vecuronium (Vb) have been compared in vitro of guinea-pig.
