Abstract
Rocuronium has been developed especially to facilitate quick endotracheal intubation. As optimal intubating conditions depend on complete vocal cord paralysis, neuromuscular (nm) blockade at the larynx is of special interest. We have compared the effects of rocuronium at antagonistic laryngeal muscles and the cranial tibial muscle (TIB) in guinea pigs.
