Intubating Conditions and Haemodynamic Effects of Rapid Sequence Induction with Fentanyl, Propofol and Rocuronium

Abstract

Rapid onset and haemodynamic stability are two main features required of an ideal neuromuscular blocker. Rocuronium has a short onset comparable to suxamethonium. In this study we investigated the cardiovascular effects following rapid sequence induction with 0.9mg kg-1 rocuronium.
