Die Globalisierung hält immer mehr Einzug in die heutige Wirtschaftswelt. Dies gilt sowohl für schon heute multinational agierende Unternehmen, als auch für Unternehmen des Mittelstands. Gerade diese verspüren verstärkt die Auswirkungen der Internationalisierung durch härteren Wettbewerb, ansteigenden Kostendruck und der damit einhergehenden Notwendigkeit, die eingefahrenen Prozesse auf multinationaler Ebene anzupassen. Auch Unternehmen in Deutschland und Österreich können sich dieser Entwicklung nicht entziehen.
