Da es ein wesentliches Ziel der Arbeit ist, ein Modell zu entwickeln, welches es erlaubt, das Instandhaltungsmanagement umfassend zu bewerten, sollen in diesem Kapitel bestehende Bewertungsmodelle und -methoden (Stand des Wissens) kritisch diskutiert werden, welche das Ziel der Bewertung bzw. Performancemessung von Instandhaltungssystemen zum Inhalt haben.
