Zusammenfassung
Ein sich selbst anpassendes Unternehmertum, das eine neue Dynamik auslöst, ist weit entfernt von einem wirtschaftlichen Liberalismus, der von Jeremy Benthan vertreten wur de. Er betrachtete Unternehmer als rationale, egoistische Personen, die nur nach ,Gold und Silber’ streben. Es ist ebenso weit entfernt von dem Konzept der Unternehmen, die allein für sich agieren und damit beschäftigt sind, ihre Konkurrenten abzuwehren. Endo genes, dynamisches Unternehmertum, das über gewöhnliche Kleinbetriebe wie lokale Werkstätten, Metzger oder Friseursalons hinausgeht, ist in erster Linie ein Produkt von verstreutem Wissen – Ideen, die aufgegriffen werden. Unternehmertum stützt sich somit auf die Vorstellungskraft einer Region, wie es in dem obigen Zitat des Kindes von den Orcaden vorgeschlagen wurde. Diese Vorstellungskraft oder Phantasie und ihre Auswir kungen auf die Wirtschaft müssen sich schrittweise auf das gesamte Milieu erweitern, womit das proaktive Sozialkapital und die komplexen Humanressourcen ergänzt werden, was schliesslich zur Schaffung einer unterstützenden unternehmerische Kultur führt.
