Zusammenfassung
Unternehmenspublizität, bei der ein Unternehmen Informationen über sich, seine Tätigkeit und wirtschaftliche Lage an Außenstehende weitergibt, steht in der Tradition der Kontrolle von Macht durch Informationstransparenz, die ausser im wirtschaftlichen auch im politischen und sozialen Bereich schon seit langem erfolgreich angewendet wird: »Publicity is justly commended as a remedy for social and industrial diseases. Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants; electric light the most efficient policeman.«
