Zusammenfassung
Der im Alltag verwendete Begriff Produktion umfasst sehr unterschiedliche Sachverhalte. Einerseits werden materielle Güter wie Schuhe, Lebensmittel und Maschinen produziert, andererseits werden Dienstleistungen wie Theaterstücke, Planungssoftware und Ferienprogramme sowie auch rein ideelle Güter wie Ideen oder Informationen produziert. Betrachtet man jedoch die Fachliteratur, so lässt sich feststellen, dass die Interpretation des Begriffes Produktion ambivalent ist.
