Abstract

For the M-channel FIR orthogonal filter bank with linear phase, a complete parameterization is obtained by applying the singular value decomposition of matrices related to the corresponding polyphase matrix. In the obtained parameterization forms, the number of the required parameters is reduced to \( (N + 2)(\tfrac{M} {{\mathop 2\limits_2 }}) \).
