Zusammenfassung
Die heute als Morbus Dupuytren bekannte digitopalmare Kontraktur, welche der Pariser Anatom und Chirurg Guillaume Dupuytren (1777–1835, Abb. 2) zum Thema seiner berühmt gewordenen Vorlesung am 5. Dezember 1831 am Hôpital-Dieu erwählte, war lange vor ihm klinisch exakt beschrieben und auch bereits veröffentlicht worden (Cooper, 1824; Paillard und Marx, 1831; Dupuytren, 1831; 1832; 1834).
