Zusammenfassung
Das „Volk des Buches“ war in der Jischuw-Periode durchaus auch ein Volk der Zeitung, und zwar nicht zuletzt der Parteizeitung. Nach der Staatsgründung wurde das parteipolitische Zeitungswesen Opfer der abnehmenden Ideologisierung der israelischen Gesellschaft (ausführlich: Wolffsohn, 1983: Kap. 48; Galnoor, 1982: 226ff.).
