Zusammenfassung
Die vielfältigen und oftmals überraschend negativen Folgen der humanitären und technischen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit schaffen in zunehmendem Maße einen Bedarf an Analyseinstrumenten, welche einen experimentellen Zugang zu Fremdkulturen eröffnen. Die Möglichkeit, auf dem Bildschirm eine ausgewählte Landschaft mit ihren verschiedenen physischen, sozialen und kulturellen Aspekten darstellen zu können, läßt die Computersimulation zu einem adäquaten Hilfsmittel werden, weil die Dynamik des Systems auf der Basis gesicherter Erkenntnisse Situationen generiert, die Denkfehler im Verstehen fremder Kulturen aufzeigen und unangemessene Maßnahmen zu vermeiden helfen.
