Zusammenfassung
Die wichtigsten Therapieoptionen in der Veterinäronkologie sind Chirurgie, Chemotherapie und Strahlentherapie. Von diesen ist die onkologische Chirurgie immer noch die dominierende Behandlungsmethode in der Veterinäronkologie. Trotz der häufig von finanziellen Aspekten bestimmten Herangehensweise an die Therapie von Haustieren spielen jedoch auch Chemotherapie und Strahlentherapie eine zunehmende Rolle.
