Zusammenfassung
Gruppen in der Forensik umfassen Gruppen im Justizvollzug, Gruppen im Maßregelvollzug sowie ambulante Gruppen. Sie sind von der Justiz in der Regel durch ein Urteil angeordnet. Mit Schwerpunkt auf Gruppen im Maßregelvollzug werden in diesem Beitrag einige Grundlagen der forensischen Gruppenpsychotherapie erörtert und die Rahmenbedingungen aufgezeigt, unter denen Therapie stattfinden kann. Unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von Straftäterbehandlungsprogrammen, die in den letzten Jahren auch in Deutschland vermehrt eingesetzt werden, stellen wir Wirksamkeitsnachweise forensischer Gruppentherapie im Überblick dar und skizzieren einige Arbeitsbereiche, in denen noch weiterer Forschungsbedarf besteht.
