Zusammenfassung
Die Entbindung Frühgeborener setzt eine optimale perinatalmedizinische und neonatologische Versorgung voraus. Viele Faktoren müssen zusammenwirken, um ein optimales Outcome der Kinder und Mütter zu erzielen. Es geht dabei nicht nur um den günstigsten Entbindungszeitpunkt, sondern vor allem um die dann zur Verfügung stehende Logistik und fachliche Kompetenz. Ob bei einer Frühgeburt eine vaginale, eine vaginal operative oder eine Schnittentbindung zum Zuge kommen, hängt von der jeweiligen Risikoeinschätzung und Erfahrung des Zentrums ab. In diesem Kapitel wird daher neben dem Geburtsmodus auf die rückenmarksnahe Anästhesie, das Spätabnabeln, die Eltern-Kind-Bindung und auf den postpartalen Zugang zum frühgeborenen Kind eingegangen.
