Zusammenfassung

In der angelsächsischen Planungsliteratur erlebt der Begriff eines Entscheidungsunter-stützungssystems (decision support system) eine Blüte ohnegleichen. Es ist nicht übertrieben zu behaupten, daß nahezu das gesamte Gebiet der computergestützten Planung nunmehr unter diesem Begriff abgehandelt wird. Eine Buchreihe und eine Zeitschrift widmen sich ausschließlich diesem Thema. Die „International Conference on Decision Support Systems“ behandelt jährlich neue Entwicklungen aus diesem Bereich und die Fülle an Zeitschriftenaufsätzen ist schon nicht mehr zu überblicken [1].
