Abstract
This chapter describes a case designing an Office Information System using The Coordinator to support a distributed business process according to the different types of co-operative work (co-ordination, collaboration and co-decision) in a professional training company primarily operating for the public administration in Italy. The author has been involved in the process analysis and the design and implementation of the computer system. Two years after the conclusion of the project, the author conducted a research to evaluate the usefulness of The Coordinator in supporting the distributed business processes for which the system has been designed and implemented.
