  • Chapter
Information Systems Outsourcing

Summary

This paper views outsourcing from the perspective of the provider of Information Technology services. In particular, it focuses at the organizational level on the outsourcing provider and at the individual level at the workers who are subcontracted to do the outsourcing work. Using cases from two separate organizations, it highlights and critical issues and summarizes major activities from the standpoint of those doing the work.
