Zusammenfassung
In einer Informationsgesellschaft, die geprägt ist von Technologie und Geschwindigkeit, in der technische Innovationen alltägliche Routinen in kürzester Zeit verändern, verwerfen oder neu erfinden, kann sich auch das Alter weder kulturell noch sozial dieser Temporalisierung und Informatisierung entziehen. So sind es auch diese beiden Bereiche – Information und Kommunikation –, welche bei der Entwicklung und öffentlichen Verhandlung von technologischen Assistenzsystemen vornehmlich aufgegriffen werden.
