In ihrem 1926 erschienen Ratgeber „Elternsünden. Ein Beitrag zur Erziehung der Eltern“ richtet sich Clara Ebert-Stockinger explizit an beide Eltern. Dieses Werk, das nur in einer Auflage erschien, stellt nicht das einzige aus ihrer Feder dar. 1907 erschien „Mutterschaft: Werden, Pflege und Erziehung des Kindes. Eine Weihegabe von Clara Ebert-Stockinger“ sowie ein veröffentlichter Vortrag „Die natürliche Erziehung: Vortrag gehalten am 16. Oktober 1907 im grossen Schwurgerichtssaale in Züich“.

Hier bezieht sich Ebert Stockinger auf Gustav von Bunge (1844–1920), einen Physiologen, Chemiker und Professor für Physiologische Chemie in Basel, der in seinen Untersuchungen zur Stillfähigkeit zu dem Schluss von deren Erblichkeit kam und bei Abweichungen der Töchter vom mütterliche Vorbild den Alkoholkonsum der Väter und eine daraus resultierende Keimschädigung als ursächlich sah (vgl.
