Zusammenfassung
Mittels personeller Verteilung soll gemessen werden, wie sich das aggregierte Einkommen auf Personen oder Haushalte aufteilt. Im Gegensatz zur funktionalen Verteilung steht hier also nicht die Aufteilung des Einkommens nach Produktionsfaktoren (Arbeit vs. Kapital) im Mittelpunkt der Untersuchungen, sondern ausschließlich die Aufteilung auf Personen oder Haushalte. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass im vergangenen Jahrhundert eine steigende Anzahl von Personen ihr Einkommen sowohl aus Arbeits- als auch aus Kapitaleinkünften bezog, konzentriert sich die empirische Forschung zunehmend auf die personelle Verteilung.
Im Gegensatz zur funktionalen Verteilung gibt es mehrere grundlegende Messarten der personellen Verteilung.
