Abstract

The following qualitative study aims at providing an additional in-depth analysis of the awareness and practice of responsible lobbying in the EU. This part complements the quantitative analysis (as presented in the previous Chapters 6 and 7) by incorporating findings from interviews with practitioners conducted in Autumn 2013. Chapter 8.2 lays the foundations of the qualitative analysis: It outlines the goal and general approach (specifically the problem-centered interview method), discusses quality assurance through the criteria for trustworthiness and explains the processes of preparing, conducting, processing and analyzing interviews.
