Abstract

This chapter aims to lay the conceptual foundations of responsible lobbying research: It considers obstacles and chances of integrating CSR and lobbying and develops an encompassing understanding of what responsible lobbying entails. First, Chapter 4.2 discusses potential objections against and gains of responsible lobbying. Next, Chapter 4.3 elaborates on a number of key issues that influence the prospects for integrating CSR and lobbying.
