Zusammenfassung
Für die qualitativ hochwertige Dokumentation, Verarbeitung und den sicheren Austausch von Gesundheitsdaten werden E-Health-Standards benötigt, die den Anforderungen eines modernen Gesundheitssystems in besonderem Maße entsprechen. Die steigende Relevanz von SNOMED CT als internationale Referenzterminologie rechtfertigt eine Auseinandersetzung mit deren Einsatz in Deutschland. Sämtliche Eigentumsrechte an SNOMED CT sind im Besitz der International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation (IHTSDO).
