Abstract
This final Chapter presents the contribution of the author’s research investigation to the field a user’s perspective of SDPs, with respect to ICT systems. The final categories and their relationships, developed in Chapters 4 and 5 are illustrated. Moreover, the main contributions of this research are presented. Additionally, the findings and outcomes of this study, presented in the previous Chapter, are revisited to address the aim and the objectives, introduced in Chapter 1. Discussions on the completion of the Grounded Theory criteria (outlined in Section 3.4.3) and methods, as well as the study itself, are illustrated. Furthermore, specific scenarios of SDP and ICT technology applications are given, based on the concepts of the developed generic framework, in this study. This Chapter provides conclusions on the overall research, considers the study’s limitations, presents lessons learned from the process, and offers suggestions for further research.
