Zusammenfassung

Die Rede von der Globalisierung, der Globalisierungsdiskurs, ist der neue métarécit, die neue Große Erzählung unserer Zeit. Es ist der Diskurs über die neueste Entwicklung des Kapitalismus, der sich endgültig als Weltsystem durchsetzt. Man wird heute kaum eine Aussage über soziale Entwicklungen von einiger Bedeutung machen können, ohne sich irgendwie auch in diesem Diskurs zu bewegen, d. h. ohne auf die Prozesse der Globalisierung Bezug zu nehmen. Das gilt natürlich auch für die Kriminalität und Kontrolle, denen ich mich hier widmen möchte.
