Zusammenfassung
Diversity lässt sich als eine Reflexionssemantik der multipel differenzierten Weltgesellschaft und das Diversity Management als ein Verarbeitungsprogramm mit ausgebauter Reflexionstheorie verstehen. Eine Rekonstruktion des reflexionstheoretischen Diskurses sowie empirische Einsichten aus dem „Business Life“ ergeben, dass das Diversity Management letztlich als gesellschaftlich selbsterzeugte Selbstimmunisierungskompetenz fungiert. Das ist die Diversity Kompetenz der Gesellschaft – sie schirmt ihre Leistungsbereiche vor kulturell-normativen Anerkennungsansprüchen ab, um Integration zu gewährleisten.
