Das Institut Arbeit und Technik (IAT) bildet als anwendungsorientiertes Forschungs-und Entwicklungsinstitut der Westfälischen Hochschule Gelsenkirchen, Bocholt, Recklinghausen und Kooperationspartner der Ruhr Universität Bochum ein gemeinsames Kompetenzzentrum für Innovation der beiden Hochschulen.
