Zusammenfassung
Eines der Leitmotive der Forschung Hans Georg Gemündens ist die Netzwerkkompenz eines Unternehmens und im speziellen deren Bedeutung für den Innovationsprozess (Gemünden et al. 1992; Gemünden et al. 1996). Gemünden hat schon früh die Aneignung, das Zunutze Machen oder "Appropriierung" externen Wissens als notwendig zur Erreichung unternehmerischer Innovationsziele propagiert. Im Rahmen der „Open Innovation“ (Chesbrough, 2003) ist dieses Prinzip heute wie nie zuvor geradezu als zentrales Paradigma moderner Innovationen anerkannt.
