Zusammenfassung
Die Personalführung („People Management“) ist zuständig für die personellen Potenziale im Kommunikationsmanagement. Durch diese Fähigkeits- und Bereitschaftspotenziale wird sichergestellt, dass Kommunikationsmanager die Anforderungen ihrer jeweiligen Aufgabengebiete erfüllen. Dabei variieren die Anforderungsprofile vor allem zwischen den „Kommunikatoren“ und den„Koordinatoren“ im Kommunikationssystem. Die Instrumente der strategischen Personalführung zum Aufbau der Potenziale stammen aus dem Qualifizierungs-, Rekrutierungs- und Motivierungssystem. Flankierend liefert das Organisationssystem geeignete Konzepte, mit denen sich die Herausforderungen einer auf mehrere Führungskräfte verteilten Personalführung meistern lassen. Das Kommunikationsmanagement erfordert spezifische Mixe von Führungsinstrumenten, etwa in Gestalt der Kombinationen von On-the-job-, Near-the-job- und Off-the-Job-Trainings sowie von anforderungs- und performancebasierten Vergütungssystemen.
