Zusammenfassung

In den vergangenen zehn Jahren hat die Thematik der altersbedingten Unternehmensnachfolge in der mittelständischen Wirtschaft verstärkt an Bekanntheit und Bedeutung gewonnen. Vor allem für inhabergeführte mittelständische Unternehmen gestaltet sich die Unternehmensnachfolge als komplexer Prozess und bedarf einer langfristigen Vorbereitung. Dies ist der Tatsache geschuldet, dass die Unternehmensführerin oder der Unternehmensführer hier sowohl das Eigentum am Unternehmen als auch dessen Leitung innehaben.
