Zusammenfassung
Im heutigen Fokus von Kommunikationsverantwortlichen stehen längst nicht nur öffentliche, soziale Netzwerke wie Facebook, YouTube oder Xing. Eigene Social Media Kanäle, Blogs, Wikis oder Communities, werden ebenfalls zur Außenkommunikation genutzt (vgl. Fink et al. 2011: 38ff.). Diese Entwicklungen rücken das Konzept der Fangemeinden von Unternehmensmarken, so genannte ‚Brand Communities‘, in neues Licht.
