Zusammenfassung
Die bisherigen Kapitel des Teils 2 haben die Elektronenhülle von Atomen und molekularen Aggregaten hauptsächlich unter Beschränkung auf die nichtrelativistische Näherung und auf ein Einelektron-Modell (Zentralfeld- bzw. MO-Modell) beschrieben. Über die nichtrelativistische Näherung wurde dabei nur insoweit hinausgegangen, dass durch die phänomenologische Einbeziehung des Spins das Pauli-Prinzip korrekt berücksichtigt und damit die Struktur der Energiespektren von Atomen und Molekülen qualitativ verstanden werden konnte. Das alles wollen wir unter dem Begriff "elementare Quantenchemie" zusammenfassen.
