Abstract

Early responses to androgens are responsible for the maintenance of the struc ture and function of androgen target cells, as typified by the male accessory sexual glands. The morphologic effects on androgens in the brain are much less pronounced and these differences should be explored rather than ignored in future work as they may give some clue to the molecular mechanisms involved in androgenic responses.
