Abstract
The fundamental solution of an infinite three-dimensional, linear, elastic, orthotropic, homogeneous layer subjected to an arbitrary buried source is presented. The results are subsequently utilized to formulate the multilayered orthotropic medium problem by means of transfer matrices.
