Abstract
The utilization of natural water resources is an integral part of the economic sector worldwide. Aspects concerning production of electric energy, irrigation and drinking water supply, may be seen of prime importance. The realization of these vital commodities generally is reached by the creation of reservoirs for the storage and the selective withdrawal of the seasonal water come in. In the majority of cases man made lakes impounded by dams comply with this requirement.
