Abstract
As you know in humans the general polymorphisms are HLA DR DQ and DP and perhaps one thing that we can think about — is there any different functions to these different alpha beta heterodimers. As you know, many species have DR and DQ analogues but do not have DP analogues so another question is — are there any different functions that can be attributed to these different alpha beta heterodimers’.
